For Sri Lanka tours, we recommend wearing light, breathable clothing due to the warm and humid climate. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, especially for sightseeing, temple visits, and short hikes. When visiting temples, cultural sites, or religious places, modest clothing is required—shoulders and knees must be covered, and sleeveless tops or shorts are not allowed. Women may also be asked to cover their heads with a scarf in certain temples.

It is advisable to carry sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a water bottle to stay hydrated during outdoor activities. For trips to higher-altitude areas like Nuwara Eliya or Horton Plains, bring a light jacket or sweater, as it can be cooler in the mornings and evenings. If your itinerary includes safaris, waterproof clothing or a light raincoat may be useful during the rainy season.

Most sightseeing tours in Sri Lanka are suitable for children, seniors, and families, as they are generally relaxed and involve light walking. Activities such as city tours, cultural visits, temple visits, and scenic drives are usually safe and comfortable for all age groups. However, some experiences — such as long hikes, climbing large stairways (e.g., Sigiriya Rock), safari jeep rides, or long road journeys — may be challenging for infants, elderly travelers with health conditions, or pregnant women.

Pregnant travelers and seniors with medical concerns are advised to consult a doctor before joining physically demanding activities and inform our team in advance so we can recommend the most suitable and comfortable itinerary. Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times, especially during outdoor and wildlife activities.
